Derek B. Kellett, CPA Founder
Derek is dedicated to working with small businesses, passionate about technology, and enjoys developing customized solutions for the needs of his clients. Derek is a licensed CPA, currently pursuing the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation, and holds various online accounting software certifications. Derek earned his bachelor’s degree from Temple University in Finance, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2011. Derek enjoys spending time with his wife and children, watching sports, drinking coffee, and traveling.
Why River & Iron?
Our company launched in central Pennsylvania with a focus on clients in the neighboring towns of Riverside and Danville. The former is self-explanatory, and the latter has a rich historical heritage of iron mills and iron workers, garnering the nickname Iron Town. We set out to create an accounting firm that was different and innovative. Rivers are symbolic of forward motion, an irreversible and continual passage of time, and ever changing water. At River & Iron, we guide our clients throughout all stages of growth and are with them every step of the way.
